How to make a Simple Webpage

Here i will tell how to make your first web page. Before going through HTML commands lets see how exactly a webpage is formed. Open a new file in notepad. Lets see how to make the text move in a webpage.
All syntax in html comes between the tags <html> and </html>. So what ever code will be written will be within these tags.

<title>My First Webpage</title>

<body>

This is my name scrolling <br>

<marquee>Your Name Comes Here</marquee>

</body>

</html>

With this simple syntax you can see your name moving. The <title>... </title> tags contains the Title of Your webpage in blue bar above. The <body>...</body> tags contains the body of the webpage that is the text. The <br> tag takes user to next line.
Now when you have written this html code in notepad save this notepad file as filename.html or filename.htm. .File will be saved with .html or .htm extensions.
That is it. Your First Webpage is ready.

The HTML Meta Tags defines the meta data in a web page. These meta tags comes under the <head>....</head> tags. This meta data is used by search engines, web browsers for different purposes. e.g

The keywords are used by some search engines to index your document. Many People are always trying to get their pages high-ranked by adding in hundreds of repeated keywords that do not match the web page content, which is false and those type of pages are neglected by the search engines, only good content pages comes on the top of search engines.

Description:

The text is used by some search engines to describe your document. The Description must contains some of your main keywords in it.
