force is seen as a force which must be applied by an external agent to
force an object to move in a curved path
centrifugal force, a fictitious force,
peculiar to a particle moving on a circular path
The apparent force, equal and opposite to the
centripetal force, drawing a rotating body away from the center of
rotation, caused by the inertia of the body.
