History of PIC Microcontroller

PIC is a family of Harvard architecture microcontrollers made by Microchip Technology, derived from the PIC1640 originally developed by General Instrument's Microelectronics Division. The name PIC initially meant "Programmable Interface Controller".

Vdd : +5 Volt for Micro controller.
Vss : ground
MCLR : Master Clear ( Reset ) active low for microntroller.
OSC1/CLKIn : Input Osc or pin for XTAL/Resonator
OSC2/CLKOut : Output Osc or pin for XTAL/Resonator
Port A
RA0 through RA4 (TOCKI = input for Timer Module)
Port B
RB0 ( input for INT = interrupt facility )
RB1 through RB5
RB6 ( Input Clock during programming)
